Salary: NQT/MPS + SEN allowance

2-5 days per week

Contract: Initial one year contract fixed until 31/08/2026 with potential to make permanent

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly motivated teacher to join our school from the 1st September 2025.

This position will be focused on delivering Computer Science at Key Stage 3, as well as some other subjects. There is also the potential for Computer Science to be delivered to a small number of Key Stage 4 students.

You should have a proven background at delivering the Computer Science curriculum in a creative and engaging way. Applicants can be from a primary or secondary background and should have a keen interest in SEN, although experience in this field is not necessary.

Sunnydown School is an oversubscribed and very successful Special School catering for young men with Communication and Interaction Needs (CoIN) in Caterham, Surrey. Our experienced team of teachers and Teaching Assistants are highly versatile in their ability to deliver outstanding and transformational learning experiences in a range of subjects.
