Pay Grade: MAT C, SCP 5-6, Actual salary £17,381- £17,657
(Full Time Equivalent Salary is £25,583 - £25,989)
Hours: 29 hours per week (4x days 8:45-3:30pm, 1x day 8:45-12:45pm)
Fixed Term until 31.08.2027
Thank you for your interest in working at St Stephen’s Church School. We are looking for a highly organised and well-motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team and work across school.
We are looking for someone who:
- has a good understanding of effective SEND practices and is prepared to reflect and develop;
- is caring, kind and hard-working;
- places building positive relationships at the heart of what they do, providing encouragement and reassurance;
- knowledge of (or an interest in learning about) emotion coaching techniques to support development of emotional literacy and regulation skills;
- an awareness of when to 'step in or step out' to help the child to develop their own capacity to learn;
- be able to support social communication skills;
