An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Literacy & Maths Tutor to Join us at Swallowdale Primary School to support, motivate and challenge pupils helping them to overcome barriers to learning, and supporting their academic development. This is a temporary position for 13 hours a week until 21st August 2022.
The successful candidate will be required to deliver small group sessions with groups of up to 3 children. The aim is to enable these students to close any learning gaps they have and enable them to catch up with their peers. There is a particular focus on supporting our disadvantaged students.
The ideal candidate for the role will be a qualified teacher who has experience in teaching to a high standard, ensuring all the children achieve their full potential. They will be expected to communicate positively with staff, children and parents and install a love-for-learning alongside resilience and independence
