An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join Swallowdale Primary School as an Office Administrator on a permanent basis. The individual will be required to work 8:30am – 11:30am, Mondays – Fridays.

As Administration Assistant you can expect to support the Office Manager in offering excellent customer service to the school, providing a warm welcome to the school as first point of contact; ensuring the administration of the school runs efficiently and effectively.

This role is a rewarding one with the successful candidate having the opportunity to join a well established team to support the running of the school office and be involved in all aspects of administration and reception service in the school; and build strong positive professional relationships with our families and stakeholders ensuring the reputation of the school is upheld. This role is the perfect starting point for someone looking to start an administrative career within the education sector or for someone who wishes to gain experience within another school.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience of working in an administrative role

• Good communication and organisational skills

• The ability to prioritise their workload

• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude with a friendly approach

• Competency in all aspects of IT and keyboard use

• The ability to be flexible and calm under pressure

• The ability to use their own initiative
