Reading Champion

Term Time Only (38 Weeks Per Year)

Swallowdale Primary School are seeking to appoint a Reading Champion as soon as possible to help reduce the impact of the pandemic on learning. This is a fixed term contract for 10 hours per week until August 2022.

The role of Reading Champion will be:

• To champion reading across the school; to model to the children the skills of a keen and enthused reader

• To deliver reading sessions for individual children and groups across the primary age initially focused in Key Stage 2

The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional care to our students and have exemplary personal and professional standards that can be role modelled to the children within our school.
