Working Hours: Thursday and Friday 08:30am to 4:00 pm (14 hours per week). Term time, 197 days (39.4 weeks) per year which includes working 2 days during school holidays as required.

Actual Annual Salary: £8,465.57 (SWAN Grade 4.2, FTE £25,052)

We are looking to appoint a friendly and organised administrator to job share and work alongside our current Admissions and Attendance Officer 2 days a week.

As a core member of the busy school office team, your role is to effectively manage the admissions, leaver and attendance cycle of our students. Additionally, you will support our front office team by responding to and answering phone calls, and emails and welcoming visitors to the school.

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Will be a friendly face to pupils, parents, staff and visitors
  • Has experience of working in a fast paced and busy office environment
  • Will be self-motivated, flexible, adaptable and a team player
  • Is an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills and a sense of humour as you will be liaising with external and internal stakeholders including staff, students, parents and the wider community
  • Is able to multi-task, prioritise own workload and work effectively in a busy environment
  • Has good computer skills and a knowledge of Microsoft packages with the ability to quickly take on board new software packages
  • Will contribute to the G.O.L.D. vision and aims of the school
  • Previous experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential
