Level 3 qualified Breakfast and After School Club Play Worker - Permanent Contract - 22.08 hours per week - Term time, 185 days per year (37 weeks)  

We are looking to recruit a permanent qualified Play Worker for our friendly Breakfast and After School Club based at The Hermitage Infant School to work on Monday to Fridays, 7.30am - to 8.40am and then 2.45pm to 6.00pm.

As a Play Worker, your key responsibilities would include: -

  • Supervising children attending the Breakfast and After school clubs.  Ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Providing appropriate activities and games for the children to enjoy.
  • Encourage good behaviour.
  • Supporting the Breakfast and After School Club Leaders with the overall running of the club in line with the club polices and procedure.

Previous experience of working with children and an NVQ in Childcare is essential. Applicants must be 17 or over.

Actual Salary: £11,799 per year, based on 22.08 hours a week (FTE salary is £23,576).
