Support Staff Required – SWAN Grade 3.3 (£23,576 FTE), Fixed Term contract

Working Hours - 17 hours per week, Monday and Tuesday 8.30am to 3.15pm and Wednesday 8:30 am to 13:00 pm – Term time only (37 weeks)

Salary - FTE is £23,576, Actual is £9,084.69 per year

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, flexible, skilled and motivated Support Staff. The successful candidate will be hard working, show initiative, have a good sense of humour, work well as part of a team, have excellent literacy and numeracy skills and be willing to undertake any necessary training.

The right candidate should:

• Preferably have some previous experience of working with children.

• Have good literacy and numeracy skills – GCSE grade C or above desirable.

• Be enthusiastic, resourceful and understanding, with a positive outlook.

• Be able to deliver support programmes in small group or 1:1 situations.

• Be able to deliver supportive strategies for pupils with specific difficulties mainly linked to learning and other related needs.

• Be able to work in a team sharing good practices and developing resources and materials.

The role is for Support Staff to support pupils in small groups, 1:1 and may also include some general class support in the Mainstream and our Specialist Learning provision.
