Beaufort Primary School are looking to recruit Classroom Support Staff as below, both roles will be a fixed term contract (until 22nd July 2026);
- Monday to Friday - 8.20am to 3.15pm - 32.08 hours per week
OR
- Monday to Friday - 8.20am to 3.00pm - 30.83 hours per week

We are very excited to be able to look for a support member of staff to join our happy team at Beaufort Primary School. Relevant, recent experience will be an advantage, but is not essential.
Candidates must be willing to become a part of our whole school team and should be hardworking, committed, highly positive and able to use their initiative. They should be adaptable, creative and able to communicate well with adults and children. Our ethos is one of mutual respect and our ideal candidate would understand how to nurture and develop the whole child whilst maintaining high expectations and standards. Good levels of Maths and English are absolutely essential.
This post may involve work with children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, although you should be prepared to work with other children throughout the school as required. It involves working under the guidance of the class teacher to support children both within the classroom and through small group and one to one work. The job includes running personalised programmes and interventions, teaching groups or individuals who have been targeted for extra support and supervising the class as required in the short term absence of the teacher. Full training will be given. This job also involves an element of lunchtime supervision.
Contract: Fixed Term Contract until July 2026, Part Time, Term Time only (37 weeks)
Salary: Grade S3.2;
- for 32.08 hours - actual salary is £17,691 - (FTE is £24,330)
- for 30.83 hours - actual salary is £17,002 - (FTE is £24,330)
