Nursery Room Lead: 3–4-year-olds
Hours: 32.90 hours per week term time only, 190 days per year (38 weeks). In addition to your commitment of annual hours you are required to attend up to 5 In Service Training (INSET) days.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 8:30 to 15:30 (including an unpaid 25-minute lunch break)
Actual Annual Pro-rata Salary: £22,745 (SWAN PS6.2, FTE £29,697)
We are looking for a qualified childcare professional who can continue the excellent progress made by our current room leader.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be passionate about Early Years education
- Have experience in delivering high quality education and childcare
- Have previous success in leading and managing a team
- Be able to cultivate a positive relationship with children, staff, families and external stakeholders
- Have excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
- Understand the need for sensitivity and confidentiality
- Share our values
- Have the desire and ability to contribute fully to school life
- Be educated to minimum qualification: Level 3 in childcare (essential)
- Ideally have an interest or expertise in SEN, ELSA or Forest School
