Nursery Support required for September 2025

Hours: 21 hours per week, term time, 185 days (37 weeks) per year

Working Pattern: Monday 12:45 pm to 6:15 pm, Tuesday 12:45 pm to 6:15 pm and Thursday 07:45 am to 6:15 pm

Actual Annual Salary: £11,222 (SWAN Grade 3.3, FTE £23,576)

Golden Owls Day Nursery is situated within the grounds of Goldsworth Primary School. We are a well-established, oversubscribed nursery. From September our provision is changing, and we will be providing full day care 37 weeks of the year during term time and will be open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. We are registered to look after 28 children aged between 2-4 years old.

We are looking to appoint a Nursery Support to join our experienced friendly team. You will work as a member of the nursery team to ensure that all children who attend our nursery receive high quality care, are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs. We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience of working within a nursery or with children 0-5 years
  • A basic understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • A commitment to ensuring that all our children can be the best they can be
  • A passion and enthusiasm to work with children
  • A positive, patient and nurturing approach towards children
  • The ability to work flexibly as part of a team
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
