Working Hours: 20 hours per week (days and timings to be confirmed with successful applicant). Term time, 37 weeks per year, plus and additional 3 days to be worked during school holidays and to attend up to 5 inset days as required

Actual Annual Salary: £11,208.54 (SWAN Grade 3.3, FTE £24,330)

We have an exciting new opening.

We are looking to appoint a friendly and organised administrator. As a member of the school office team, your role will provide assistance with a broad range of administrative duties. Additionally, you will support the team by responding to and answering phone calls and emails and welcoming visitors to the school.

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Is committed to working in an environment where children come first
  • Understands the need for sensitivity and confidentiality
  • Will be a friendly face to pupils, parents, staff and visitors
  • Has experience of working in a fast paced and busy office environment
  • Will be self-motivated, flexible, adaptable and a team player
  • Is an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills and a sense of humour as you will be liaising with external and internal stakeholders including staff, students, parents and the wider community
  • Is able to multi-task, prioritise own workload and work effectively in a busy environment
  • Has good computer skills and a knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Will contribute to the vision and aims of the school
  • Previous experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential
