Learning Support Assistant

Fixed Term (linked to funding) , Part-Time, 2 days a week - Monday and Tuesday, Term Time Only 

Start Date: Monday 6th June 2022

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with young people to join our School.

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support an EHCP student who has specific medical needs and so are looking for an individual who is kind with good attention to detail. Full training will be given and experience with Type 1 diabetes is not essential. The successful candidate will be based in the School office so it will be necessary for them to hold a first aid qualification (or be willing to undergo training) and complete some general administrative tasks for the School.

The normal working hours are 9.20am to 3.30pm with half an hour unpaid lunch to be taken in line with the needs of the student, 2 days a week typically Monday and Tuesday, term time only (namely 36 weeks per year) as agreed with the line manager. This position is split between this vacancy and another employee who works 3 days a week.
