Performing Arts Technician

Salary: £24,778 (actual) for 35 hour week, term time only plus 10 days in the holidays

The Role

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to fill the position of Performing Arts Technician. The role would suit someone with a keen interest in performing arts who has good knowledge of the workings of a theatre, front of house, lighting and sound, digital editing and stage management. You will liaise with staff, students and external organisations to ensure that events and productions run smoothly as well as providing support to the Drama department on a daily basis. The role is varied and interesting and will require good organisational skills.

You will have first-class communication skills and be confident communicating with young people and adults. Experience of working within Education and with young people would be an advantage but is not essential.
