A great HLTA opportunity in a growing school where children lead learning

There are not many times in a career when the opportunity arises to help support children within a growing school community – this is one of those times… can confidently lead groups of learners and, if so, are you the person who will make the most of this opportunity?

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support learning across our school across our school. 

Our intake is two form entry and the teachers and support staff working closely together to provide outstanding learning opportunities for all the children. We aim to make this Academy outstanding, and our recent SIAMS and Ofsted confirmed we are on this journey by confirming our "Good" rating.

We would welcome your application if you can demonstrate that you are:-

  • Someone who understands the importance of the Inquiry based learning - learning through discovery, questioning, experimenting and enjoyment
  • Someone who has experience of supporting social, emotional and mental health needs through specific interventions
  • Able to help design and create stimulating learning experiences for the children
  • Able to be flexible and adaptable in this exciting early growth phase of this new academy
  • Aware of the positive impact of learning in an environment built on Christian values

Working hours are 32.5 hours per week , Term Time only plus inset days (39 weeks per year)

Salary BG09 - £29,300 - 32,076 (pro rata)  - £22,023 - 24,109 (actual)
