Part Time Premises Assistant Required

We are seeking a Premises Assistant to join the team in ensuring that school site and grounds are maintained in a safe, clean and orderly condition, in readiness for teaching and other activities undertaken on the premises. Duties include porterage, light maintenance, furniture and equipment set up and cleaning duties.
Thames Ditton Junior School is a popular 3 form entry school with 360 pupils from Year 3 to Year 6, and part of the Hinchley Wood Learning Partnership, a small multi academy trust located on the borders of South West London between Surbiton and Esher, Surrey.
We are looking for someone who can work constructively as part of a team, able to follow direction and build good relationships with colleagues and pupils. Experience of a similar role or relevant skills and a ‘can do’ attitude are required, together with good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to use initiative and work flexibly. The ideal candidate will be happy to work outdoors to maintain high standards of presentation of our site and grounds, training will be available.
The hours of work are expected to be 10am – 2pm, Monday – Friday, and we are happy to consider the role during term time only or throughout the year.
