Hours of work: 20 hours per week 6.45am – 10.45am Monday to Friday
Hillcrest Academy is seeking to recruit a dedicated and proactive Site Manager to join our team.
This is a key role within the academy, responsible for helping to ensure our site and facilities are safe, secure, well-maintained and fit for purpose. Working closely with academy leaders, the successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day management of the site, including maintenance, health and safety, security, contractor supervision and the coordination of site and cleaning services.
We are looking for an organised and reliable individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards and creating a positive environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
Potential applicants will have:
- Appropriate qualifications and/or significant experience in a site, facilities, maintenance or similar role.
- A good understanding of health and safety requirements and safe working practices.
- The ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding academy roles and responsibilities, including their own.
- Strong organisational skills, with the initiative to prioritise workloads and respond to issues effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, contractors and other stakeholders.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
