Cover Supervisor

30 HOURS PER WEEK 8.30am – 3.30pm 39 WEEKS PER YEAR (Term time plus 5 staff development days); part time hours would be considered.

NJC Pay scale 13-16 FTE £24,948 - £26,357 (Actual Salary £17,321 - £18,300) 

JOB OVERVIEW

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to support teaching and learning as a Cover Supervisor at Bradon Forest School in Swindon. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities.

Bradon Forest School is a well-respected and popular 11 – 16 comprehensive and our catchment area takes from rural and urban communities. The school is well situated just north of the M4 (J16), within easy travelling distance of Bristol, Bath, and Swindon and on the edge of the Cotswolds. The Athelstan Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust formed in 2015 currently consisting of five secondary schools (Malmesbury School, Bradon Forest School, The Dean Academy, Sir William Romney’s School and Chipping Sodbury School) in Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire. All our schools share a deep commitment to delivering an excellent comprehensive education to all the students in the Trust.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for a cover supervisor to cover lessons for absent teachers as required. The ideal candidate will facilitate and encourage learning to help all students achieve their potential, work with colleagues to support high standards of behaviour and attainment. Whilst maintaining a positive and thriving school environment for our learners.

• Previous experience relating to the candidate info pack
