We're looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Administrator to join our team and support the smooth day-to-day running of the college.
The Role
As an Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the college, helping to ensure systems and processes run efficiently and effectively.
You'll be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including managing records, supporting colleagues and maintaining organised systems, alongside providing a professional reception and enquiry service.
You'll work closely with the Senior Administrator and wider team to deliver a consistent, reliable and high-quality administrative service across the college.
What You'll Be Doing
Providing a warm, professional reception service, welcoming visitors and ensuring sign-in procedures are followed
Answering and managing phone calls and enquiries, ensuring they are directed and handled appropriately
Performing general admin tasks including filing, data entry, document preparation, minute taking, and maintaining records
Managing incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and internal correspondence
Maintaining accurate filing and archiving systems, ensuring information is stored securely
Supporting colleagues across the college with administrative tasks to help ensure everything runs smoothly
Monitoring stationery and office supplies
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, approachable and takes pride in delivering a high standard of work.
You will have:
A good level of numeracy and literacy (at least 5 GCSEs above C to include English and Maths)
Demonstratable experience working in an administrative role for at least 1 year
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Good IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to learn new systems
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A professional, reliable and confidential approach
A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle, due to our location
