Aurora Linemere is a brand new school, opening its doors in January 2027, and we're looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to help make this vision a reality. This is a rare opportunity to be part of something truly transformative.

Aurora Linemere will be a nurturing, inclusive and ambitious school for children and young people aged 5–19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. With a capacity of 96 students, our vision is to create a safe, enriching and aspirational environment where every learner can thrive.

We're looking for a professional and highly organised Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of the school and help create a welcoming experience for pupils, families, staff and visitors.

Your Role

As our Administrator, you'll be a key part of the school's business support team, providing efficient administrative, reception and organisational support across a wide range of school functions.

You'll be the first point of contact for visitors and enquiries, while also supporting pupil administration, attendance monitoring, examinations administration and maintaining accurate records that help the school run effectively.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing a welcoming and professional reception service for visitors, parents, contractors and external stakeholders

Managing telephone calls, emails and enquiries, ensuring requests are handled efficiently and professionally

Supporting pupil administration, attendance monitoring and maintaining accurate records on the school's management information system

Assisting with examinations administration, census returns and safeguarding records, including the Single Central Record

Providing administrative and secretarial support to the Headteacher, School Business Manager and wider school team

Coordinating diaries, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence and helping maintain effective communication across the school

Supporting admissions and referrals processes, including arranging assessments and liaising with families and external professionals

Good IT skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

The ability to manage your workload and prioritise multiple tasks

A professional, reliable and confidential approach

Strong attention to detail and a willingness to support the wider team
