We're looking for a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team and make a real difference in the lives of our pupils.

Your Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our pupils' learning, wellbeing, and personal development. You'll help create a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting pupils with learning activities and care needs
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Encouraging independence and personal growth
  • Assisting teachers in delivering a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum
  • Adapting to the varied needs of pupils and being flexible in your approach

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is:

  • Experienced in working with children with SEN (paid or voluntary)
  • Flexible, creative, and child-centred
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
  • Able to build warm, supportive relationships with pupils

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/Level 2 or above)
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Knowledge of SEN, SEMH, or ASD

Desirable:

  • Level 2+ qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
