Overview

About Us

Mainstream schools refer pupils to this specialist provision for intensive work around behaviour modification, support for physical and mental health issues and interventions to address their specific needs of pupils at KS3 and 4. This specialist provision provides a broad and balanced curriculum in order for pupils to continue their learning and successfully reintegrate back into their mainstream setting through partnership working between The Bridge Alternative Provision and the school. Modification of behaviour, intervention strategies and a holistic approach to wellbeing are key aspects of this role. Close working with parents, carers and families is also key to successful reintegration. At KS4, pupils are placed at The Bridge Alternative Provision longer-term for the duration of KS4, but can reintegrate to mainstream if appropriate.
