TEACHER OF ART

(Temporary)

With effect from 22nd February 2021, we are looking for a teacher to join the team. We would welcome applications from reflective practitioners with a sound knowledge and love of art; individuals who will motivate, contextualise and inspire learning; individuals who can support and challenge students of all abilities at KS3, KS4 and KS5.

This is a full-time, temporary contract to cover absence. The dates of the absence cover are anticipated to be from 22/02/2021 until 11/02/2022, or post holder’s return if earlier.

This post would be suitable for a newly qualified teacher looking for a first post in a highly supportive environment, but would equally be suitable for experienced colleagues looking to broaden their experience.

The Castle School is part of Castle School Education Trust which was formed in 2013 by The Castle School in Thornbury, and now includes Marlwood, Mangotsfield and Downend secondary schools as well as Charfield, Severn Beach and Lyde Green primary schools
