We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and professional individual to work in our After School Club Lead at Stoneferry Primary School on a maternity cover contract.

Whilst creativity, fun and imagination are all key elements of the roles, it is essential that they have experience of working with children and have the ability to build an authentic rapport with young people from all backgrounds and life experiences. 

Salary: Grade 5, Point 8 £13.90 per hour for 10 hours per week, 3.00pm - 5.00pm (with the possibility of overtime), Monday to Friday term time only (38 weeks per year). This is a maternity cover role.

We are looking somebody who is passionate about having a positive impact on primary aged children and who will assist the club lead to create a strong and efficient team and provide a safe, stimulating, comfortable and friendly environment through the medium of arts, play and well-being activities.

The successful candidate will need to be organised, supportive, enthusiastic and kind with the ability to communicate and interact with both children, parents and school staff in an approachable and professional manner.

They will compliment school policies and core values and fulfil statutory childcare provision requirements and procedures.

They must be able to demonstrate they are a nurturing individual, hardworking and has a good understanding of working with children ages 3 – 11 years.
