We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and professional individual to work in our After School Club Lead at Stoneferry Primary School. Whilst creativity, fun and imagination are all key elements of the roles, it is essential that they have experience of working with children and have the ability to build an authentic rapport with young people from all backgrounds and life experiences. We are looking for an assistant who is passionate about having a positive impact on primary aged children and be part of a strong and efficient team to provide a safe, stimulating, comfortable and friendly environment through the medium of arts, play and well-being activities.

Salary: Grade 5, Point 8 £13.47 per hour for 10 hours per week Monday to Friday 3.00pm - 5.00pm (in the first instance) plus overtime for any time after 5.00pm until 6pm. The offer to parents is 6pm so you must be available to work until then Monday-Thursday and 5:30pm on a Friday. This is a fixed term contract until 31/03/2026.

The successful candidate will need to be organised, supportive, enthusiastic and kind with the ability to communicate and interact with both children, parents and school staff in an approachable and professional manner.

They will compliment school policies and core values and fulfil statutory childcare provision requirements and procedures.

They must be able to demonstrate they are a nurturing individual, hardworking and has a good understanding of working with children ages 3 – 11 years.
