Yorkshire and Humber Teacher Training are seeking to appoint an Apprenticeship Assessor for level 3 apprenticeships. The post is 24 hours per week, term time. This must include full days on Thursdays and Fridays. The working pattern for the remaining hours can be arranged to suit the successful candidate.
Yorkshire and Humber Teacher Training is a SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) provider and a registered apprenticeship providers delivering high quality apprenticeships in the education sector. We offer bespoke solutions for schools to recruit trainee teachers and apprentices and upskill their current workforce.
Salary: Grade 6, Point 14 £29,540 - Point 19 £32,061 for 24 hours per week (over three days). This is a fixed term appointment for one year.

The Apprenticeship Assessor will work closely with the Apprenticeship Manager and the Head of Apprenticeships to manage a caseload of learners to successfully achieve targets, delivering the Level 3 Teaching Assistant and Level 3 Early Years Educator standards and supports the delivery of the Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship and functional skills Maths and English.
The successful candidate will have experience within a teaching, learning and/or assessment role. Ideally they will have delivered Apprenticeship Standards previously and hold or be working towards an Assessor qualification.
Applicants should be proactive, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with strong organisational and administrative abilities.
The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence, have own car and be willing to travel to schools within Hull.
