Behaviour Support Officer
Salary: Grade 6 (Point 14 to 19)
£23,484 - £25,927 (pro-rata).
£20,173 to £22,272 (actual salary)
Contract: Term time only, plus 5 additional training days (195 days), 37hrs a week
Start date: September 2022
The role:
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic & friendly Behaviour Support Officer to join & strengthen the Pastoral Team at Sirius Academy West. In this role you will be responsible for helping to support and maintain high expectations of behaviour and attitudes within the Academy/school.
The right candidate will enjoy working in a dynamic and very busy environment, when ‘thinking on your feet’ is often required using their own initiative whilst working alongside staff and students to ensure expectations are of a high standard.
This is a role that would suit a flexible individual who enjoys a very hands-on and multi-tasking approach to the working day and is an ideal opportunity for the candidate to play a key role in supporting students, establishing good relationships and be an effective role model.
