Francis Askew Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible Lunchtime Supervisor for a term-time, temporary for one year position. The successfully candidate will be a friendly and reliable team member with an interest in working with children in a busy large primary school. The role is an important one within the school and will help to ensure that children are eating and playing in a safe, friendly environment. The right candidate will have the opportunity of working within a supportive, friendly environment in this well run and respected school.

Salary: Grade 1, Point 2 £11.59 per hour, Monday - Friday 11.20am - 1.20pm (10 hours per week), term time only until February 2025.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

You will be responsible for multiple lunch servings over the school lunchtime period and supervising play sessions and engaging with our young community.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

A proven ability to work on their own initiative

An ability to work well as part of a team

Knowledge of kitchen health and safety

A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults

A positive attitude and alignment to a can-do culture

An interest and/or experience of working with children with special educational needs

A commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school

Experience of working within a similar role and the ability to understand key policies eg Child Protection and Behaviour Management.
