Rise Academy is seeking to appoint an outstanding primary teacher to join the team. The teacher will be based within our ‘enhanced targeted provision’ teaching a small cohort of children with an Education and Health Care Plan. Our Rising Stars provision offers a specialised provision that aims to holistically meet the learning needs of our pupils. The cohort are in transition from Year 6 into Year 7 and access a creative curriculum that is designed to inspire and engage pupils with moderate learning difficulties (MLD).
The purpose of Rising Stars, assisted by parents, families and multi-agencies, is to provide a team of specialist staff, equipment, resources and teaching methods /strategies that will support the pupils on their learning journey.
The Rising Stars team works closely with a range of specialist services to ensure the best provision for our children. We aim for all our children to be supported, valued and nurtured in order to flourish at Rise Academy. We will facilitate children in finding their own path to a remarkable life and to ensure that children with additional needs are an integral part of our family and community.
