About the role:
We are seeking to appoint a Deputy head of maths as part of our school maths teaching team.
The Deputy Head of maths will assist the Head of Department to promote high standards in the following areas:
The quality of the curriculum in the maths department
The quality of teaching within the maths department
Leading and managing the maths team
Resource management in the maths department
Our successful candidate will have the following experience, skillset and qualifications:
• Commitment to improving student learning and raising achievement
• Enthusiasm to inspire in students a desire to learn and participate
• Honours Degree
• DfE recognised Qualified Teacher Status
The post is full-time and permanent, to begin in September 2025. This role reports to the Head of maths.
