About the role:

We are seeking to appoint a teacher of design technology as part of our school teaching team.

The teacher of design technology will be accountable for: Planning and teaching lessons to the classes they are assigned to teach within the context of the school’s plans, curriculum and schemes of work.

Our successful candidate will have the following experience, skillset and qualifications:

 Commitment to improving student learning and raising achievement

 Enthusiasm to inspire in students a desire to learn and participate

 A willingness to get involved in the department’s extra-curricular offer

 Commitment to professional development and continual improvement

 Honours degree

 DfE recognised Qualified Teacher Status

The post is fixed term from 1 September 2025 until 31 August 2026 and is suitable for both experienced and Early Career teachers. This role reports to the Head of department.
