We are looking for Exam Invigilators to join the team at Howard of Effingham School. You will be employed on a claims paid basis to supervise students taking both mock and actual exams as necessary throughout the school year; hours are variable depending upon the exam timetable. The successful candidates will work as part of a pool of invigilators and will need to be reliable and punctual, highly flexible and able to relate to learners.
The successful candidates will have basic numeracy and literacy skills, e.g. through GCSE qualifications in English and Maths or equivalent, or be able to evidence ability at an equivalent level.

As well as verification of identity, we ask all successful candidates to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance, we may also conduct an online search about any shortlisted candidates as part of our due diligence to identify any matters that might relate directly to our legal duty to meet safeguarding duties, in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
