The Howard of Effingham School has an exciting opportunity for a Student Services Administrator (Maternity Cover) (Administrative Assistant Level 2)

Working pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.00pm (with a 20 minute unpaid break), Friday 8.00am to 1.20pm 

This role is based in Student Services, providing an efficient and accurate administrative service to support the needs of the school. Duties will include administering the daily registration of attendance and supervising the collection and input of data to the attendance monitoring system.  As part of the student services team you will dealing with sick or injured children/staff.  You will also produce and distribute student detention letters, maintain the student signing in/out system and provide a photocopying service for staff.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent, or able to evidence ability at an equivalent level.

Good written and oral communication skills are a must, as is the ability to prioritise and plan your own workload in the context of conflicting priorities. The ability work on own initiative is also essential.

Interviews may take place prior to the closing date by mutual agreement.
