This is a part-time, fixed term appointment, initially to 21 July 2023. Option to work 3 or 4 days a week, term-time from 8:15am to 3:30pm.
Pro Rata Salary information
19.5 hours a week (3 days): £12,093 to £13270 per annum
26 hours a week (4 days): £16,125 to £17,693 per annum
We have an exciting opportunity for an HLTA to join the team at Kenyngton Manor Primary School. The postholder will provide and deliver learning activities for whole classes of pupils under the professional supervision of a qualified teacher. You will be working within the framework set by the teacher, to contribute effectively to the planning and preparation of lessons and undertaking the HLTA’s roles in these.

HLTA status is essential (consideration will also be given to candidates looking to gain their HLTA qualification) and must be obtained under the national TTA scheme for HLTA assessment (in order to gain HLTA status it is essential that the candidates have a qualification in English/Literacy or Maths/Numeracy at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent within the National Qualifications framework).
Higher Level Teaching Assistants will have undertaken a range of professional development activities in aspects of learning support and are likely to hold teaching assistant qualifications at NVQ Levels 3 or 4 of the National Qualifications framework.
