Where possible interviews will be held on site within our schools and we will adhere to our current Covid policy for external visitors. Otherwise interviews will be held remotely by teams or skype.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 3.42pm with a 30 minute unpaid break
Oxted School has an exciting opportunity for an Estates Site Manager to join the Estates Team. The postholder will proactively manage the Trust’s assets (land, buildings, equipment and other resources) to ensure that they are safe to use and are cost effective. They will provide a safe, clean and compliant learning and working environment for students, staff and visitors. Duties will also include overseeing estates contractors, minimising the impact during school hours. The successful candidate will also control systems, such as intruder alarms, CCTV, fire alarms, etc., responding to call-outs as necessary, in order to safeguard the Trust’s assets.
The successful candidate will be Educated to A level, HNC or equivalent, or able to evidence ability at an equivalent level, and have previous work experience in a relevant environment. Excellent organisational skills are a must with the ability to prioritise and plan your own workload in the context of conflicting priorities and work on own initiative. A methodical approach to tasks, recording and reporting is a must. Experience of staff supervision is also essential.
