Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm with an hour unpaid lunch break.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant to join us at the Meadhurst Primary School.

The post holder will support the Pastoral Team with caseloads, deliver pastoral interventions related to needs of pupils and deliver ELSA intervention, measuring the impact against outcomes.

Candidates should have basic numeracy and literacy skills, e.g. through GCSE qualifications in English and Maths or equivalent or be able to evidence ability at an equivalent level. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills and listening skills with a commitment to helping.

This position may be of interest to people who wish to consider a career in teaching, to get classroom experience prior to commencing teacher training.
