Where possible interviews will be held on site within our schools and we will adhere to our current Covid policy for external visitors. Otherwise interviews will be held remotely by teams or skype.

Working Pattern: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4pm with a 30 minute unpaid break. This role will be working one day at Fox Grove School and four days at Linden Bridge School.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Home School Link Worker to join the teams at Fox Grove School and Linden Bridge School. The successful candidates will work directly with children and families, individually and in groups, particularly focusing on parenting skills, behaviour management and practical skills; while also supporting teachers in facilitating the emotional and educational development of targeted children.

The successful applicant must: be an excellent and passionate individual who is committed to supporting the teacher in providing innovative and challenging learning opportunities to ensure that all children reach their potential; have as a strong belief in inclusion and the right for each child to be successful whatever their needs and abilities; be enthusiastic about working as part of a year group team.

Fox Grove School is a brand- new special school, based in Leatherhead. Fox Grove will welcome all-ages (4-19) which will enable you to see the amazing part you play in supporting pupils to become successful independent adults. They will provide for pupils who have autism with complex social and communications needs.

Linden Bridge School is a special school in Worcester Park, Surrey for children and young people with complex communication and interaction needs. Originally part of the LIFT Partnership Multi Academy Trust, a family of schools who work together to use and share a wide range of expertise and services, LIFT Partnership has now merged with The Howard Partnership Trust (THPT) from March 2021.
