This is a permanent role term time only (39 weeks per year)

Full-time 36 hours per week or Part-time 2, 3 or 4 days a week

Possibility of 9am start/negotiable hours to fit around childcare arrangements

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant (High COIN Centre) to join the team at Three Rivers Academy. This role supports an individual teacher, or teachers, in delivering and evaluating programmes and adapting teaching materials to suit the particular requirements of specific pupils and groups which may include pupils with special needs.

Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills and listening skills with a commitment to helping and provide a level of support for individual pupils/groups of pupils whose needs require support over and above that which a level one Teaching Assistant is expected to provide. The post holder will assist in meeting the pupils’ need for encouragement, reassurance and comfort and attend to their personal requirements and physical care while encouraging independence at all times.
