We require an enthusiastic member of staff to work as a Learning Support Assistant (Teaching Assistant - Level 2) at Oxted School based within the Specialist Centre for the Visually Impaired.  

This is a permanent role, 18 hours a week, ideally, we would be looking for two full days and the remaining hours to be worked on another day. One of the full days does need to be a Friday, the other days can be discussed at interview.

Working pattern: 0830 - 1515, with a 30 minute unpaid lunchbreak. 

This role will be supporting identified students with special educational needs and/or disabilities to enable them to access the curriculum. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal and listening skills with a commitment to helping each student achieve their full potential. This position may be of interest to people who wish to consider a career in teaching to get classroom experience prior to commencing teacher training.
