This is a permanent role, working 39 weeks per year.

Working Pattern: Shifts are available between 7.30am-9.15am and 3.00pm-8.30pm, Monday to Thursday. This is an indication of the working pattern but will be dependent on the needs of particular pupils.

We have exciting opportunities for Part-Time Child Care Officers to join the team at Linden Bridge School. The successful candidate will assist the Key Workers and provide extra support to their residential children and young people, ensuring the children have a rewarding and enjoyable Boarding experience. They will have effective communication skills and the ability to offer students positive experiences and relationships.

Linden Bridge School is a special school in Worcester Park, Surrey for children and young people with complex communication and interaction needs. Originally part of the LIFT Partnership Multi Academy Trust, a family of schools who work together to use and share a wide range of expertise and services, LIFT Partnership has now merged with The Howard Partnership Trust (THPT) from March 2021.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate basic numeracy and literacy, e.g. through GCSE qualification in English and Maths or equivalent, or able to evidence ability at an equivalent level. They will hold or be prepared to complete training Level 3 Health and Social Care on successful recruitment and complete other mandatory training.
