We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Support Officer within the Pastoral Team at Oxted School. You will provide support for students relating to social, health, hygiene and emotional development needs. You will also assist with attendance monitoring, accurately recording and reporting absence.

Working Pattern: TERM TIME PLUS 1 WEEK - Monday to Friday 09.00 to 14.00. 25 hours per week/40 weeks per year.

Fixed term until end of the academic year.

 

Main Duties:

  • Manage absence calls.
  • Manage and monitor registers.
  • Provide administrative support for the Pastoral Manager, eg, keeping student files up to date (years 7-11).
  • To ensure that contacts with students, or others have been promptly and accurately recorded and reported appropriately with regard to confidentiality.
  • Student facing admin: canteen cards and student locker admin.
