The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit a Casual Subject Tutor to work at Worle Community School – An Academy. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who would relish the chance to join us, to support the academic progress of a student and/or a group of students through a range of 1-1 and group tutoring, in an identified academic subject area.

Interviews may be held prior to the closing date.

As part of this role, you will;

  • Provide 1-1 and group tutoring to students as directed.
  • Have contact with parents, staff and students as required, to update on progress and arrange tutoring sessions.
  • Ensure effective quality control and continuous improvement in all aspects of the work and responsibilities attached to this post.

The successful candidate will have/be;

  • Experience of working in a school or a similar environment.
  • Degree in their chosen subject area.
  • The ability to adhere to working procedures and policies within the school environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Patient, flexible and adaptable, meticulous and conscientious.
  • Ability to manage own time effectively.

This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.
