Opportunity

The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit a Design & Technology Technician to work at our Priory Community School – An Academy. This is a very exciting opportunity for an individual who would relish the chance to join this forward thinking team.

As part of this role, you will

  • Assist with preparing and clearing materials and resources in the technology rooms.
  • Inform the Head of Design and Technology of any defects of equipment which may cause a Health and Safety hazard.
  • Liaise with the Facilities Manager with responsibility for annual safety audit of tools and machinery.

The successful candidate will have

  • Literacy and Numeracy qualifications equivalent to GCSE Grade A – C or Level 2, on the national vocational framework.
  • Considerable relevant technical experience.
  • Practical skills with machine tools.
