HR Administrator

37 hours per week, all year round, permanent post

The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit an HR Administrator to join the HR Team based at Priory School – An Academy, Weston-super-Mare.

This is a very exciting opportunity for an individual who would relish the chance to join us.

What you will do:

• Providing HR administration support to our Trust’s Central team and Academies. To include (but not exhaustive) recruitment, payroll, contract changes and other general administrative duties.

• You will need to be accurate in your work and have good attention to detail, ensuring communication is precise, professional and in line with the Trust policies and procedures.

• You will have HR administration experience to deal with the demands of the job and the ability to use your initiative, be enthusiastic about getting involved in a range of HR tasks, and not afraid to take on new challenges, with the willingness to further develop your knowledge of HR and Employment Law.

The successful candidates will have:

• Good literacy and numeracy skills evidenced by a minimum of 5 GCSEs grade C or above (including Maths and English) or equivalent

• HR Administration/Payroll experience and/or experience of working in an educational environment

• Excellent ICT skills. Have a working knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite

• Well organised and able to plan and prioritise own workload

• Demonstrate a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail

• Able to work unsupervised

• Patient, calm and also able to work well under pressure

• Positive solution focussed approach to duties

• To work in a way that promotes equality of opportunity and respect for diversity

• Evidence of a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
