Vámonos! Join our journey as a Spanish Teacher at Worle Community School. Are you ready to inspire the next generation of linguists? The Priory Learning Trust is looking for a passionate Spanish Teacher to bring the world of language and culture to life at Worle Community School – An Academy. The successful candidate will also be required to teach some KS3 French lessons.

Our site is located in Worle, Weston-super-Mare, a five minute drive from Junction 21 on the M5, 2.9 miles from the beach, with strong public transport links.

Key responsibilities:
- Deliver High-Quality Pedagogy: Provide stimulating and rigorous learning experiences through challenging and supportive teaching methods.
- Strategic Lesson Planning: Identify clear learning objectives and implement diverse assessment strategies to track and accelerate student progress.
- Student Engagement: Design and set purposeful tasks, including home learning, that maintain high levels of student interest and intellectual curiosity.
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Subject Specialism: A profound passion for the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures, with the ability to translate this into classroom inspiration.
- Proven Track Record: Relevant experience teaching Spanish at both KS3 and KS4 levels. The ability to teach Spanish at GCSE level is an important requirement for this position. The successful candidate will also be required to teach some KS3 French.
- Collaborative Spirit: A commitment to working effectively within a team to enhance the department’s curriculum and extracurricular offerings.
