Actual Annual Salary: £31,273 - £34,585 (Based on hours and working weeks)
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £34,740 - £38,419 (CLF Grade E). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.
Contract Type: Fixed term
Contract Length: Fixed until 28/08/2026 due to external funding for the role
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday / Term time only + 5 Inset days + 2 weeks

We are looking for a Head of House (Pastoral Lead) who will facilitate and encourage a learning environment which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential and have a positive school experience. The postholder will support in raising standards of student attainment and achievement across key groups and ability profiles.
About you:
You will demonstrate:
- Knowledge of legislation, guidance, and relevant research which inform safeguarding practices, including low level concerns.
- Current successful school experience with a responsibility for student welfare / raising achievement.
- A keen interest in working with children and young people and a commitment to improving the life chances of students.
- A willingness to work flexibly, including during holidays, such as results day, enrolment, induction and revision days and potentially from different sites at times.

About CLF Post 16:
The CLF Post 16 Academy is situated in South Gloucestershire, hosted at John Cabot Academy, and serves the students of Bristol across two local authorities. We are a centre of education for ages 16-19 offering a range of level 1, 2 and 3 vocational courses and a full breadth of A Level qualifications.
