The Role:
Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in a childâs day? Sea Mills Primary School is seeking a dedicated and reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to join their hardworking and supportive staff team.
As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise pupils during lunch times, including in the dining hall, playground, or classrooms
- Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction
- Assist with basic care needs where appropriate
- Manage minor first-aid incidents and report concerns to senior staff
- Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of all pupils at all times
We are looking for someone who will also:
- Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and have a positive âcan-doâ attitude
- Work well as part of a team while also using their own initiative
- Communicate clearly and kindly with children and staff
- Show warmth, care, and commitment to childrenâs safety and wellbeing
- Remain calm and supportive in interactions with pupils
- Support the schoolâs outdoor play approach, embracing our âwhatever the weatherâ ethos
- Act as a helpful link between pupils, lunchtime staff, and teaching staff
- Be willing to take part in training and professional development
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
