Role: 121 Teaching Assistant 

Hours: 20 hours per week - over 39 weeks 

Contract: Temporary role ASAP until 25th July 2024

Salary: WHF NJC 4-7 (Actual Salary £10,746 - £11,295)

Based in North Swindon, Haydon Wick Primary School is a warm, friendly, thriving school dedicated to providing outstanding opportunities for our children aged 4-11, ensuring they are supported and challenged within a caring environment. We couldn’t do what we do without our fantastic staff team, and we are looking for a friendly, caring and inspiring Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working team and work with a child on a 1:1 basis. You would be working with the Class Teacher and/or SENCO to meet the needs of an individual child, including activities and interventions to support their learning and progress.

Perhaps you are an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a change in direction or a new challenge working on a 1:1 level in school. All About You

Do you have what it takes to join us? The 1:1 Teaching Assistant we would like to join us will be:

  • An experienced Teaching Assistant who loves to work with children and helps to inspire them to achieve their potential.
  • An outstanding relationship-builder, with children and their families as well as other staff members.
  • Experienced in working with children with SEN and/or SEMH needs including the planning and delivery of interventions.
