The Role
We are looking to appoint a Midday Assistant to join the established and friendly team working across Thomas Deacon Academy Juniors. The role involves supervising students during the lunch time period in the refectory and Academy open spaces. The successful candidate will be expected to manage student behaviour in line with Academy policies. The successful candidate will need to be able to adapt to different environments.
The Person
You will:
• Be able to work in a team as well as independently.
• Be able to manage student behavior in line with Academy policies.
• Have a firm but calm approach towards students.
• Have previous experience of supervising children.
• Be able to adapt to the school environment, whether working in primary or secondary.
