30 hours per week over 5 days (12.30-6.50pm includes 20mins break),
Term Time Only plus 50% stand down cleaning during school holidays (110hrs).

Queen Elizabeth High School is part of the Three Counties Academy Trust (TCAT) which includes three local Primary schools.
Located in the town of Bromyard, Herefordshire, we are an 11-16 academy having converted in 2011. Set amidst spectacular scenery with stunning views of the Malvern Hills and even the Black Mountains on a clear day, the town of Bromyard is only 20 minutes from Hereford and 25 minutes from Worcester.
Queen Elizabeth High School wish to appoint a hardworking, reliable and committed Cleaner in Charge to manage our small cleaning team. As the Cleaner in Charge, you will be responsible for the supervision and organisation of the cleaning team on a daily basis. You will ensure the tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner whilst cleaning schedules are followed systematically and to the required standard. In your capacity as Cleaner in Change, you will also undertake cleaning duties.
It is expected the successful applicant will have:
• Experience of leading a team or who can demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
• An understanding and perception of the need for a high standard of cleanliness in schools.
• Possess a thorough approach to cleaning and the storage of cleaning materials
• The ability to work effectively with other cleaning staff and managers.
• The ability to be able to work independently
• A good time keeper.
• A commitment to providing a clean and pleasant environment for pupils and staff.
• To work in support of the ethos of the school.
• Previous experience of cleaning
